Kastion 0/300 Posted March 9, 2018 Poké Pelago is a series of islands with different functions that allow you to make use of the Pokémon stored in your boxes. Pokémon in your boxes can participate in a variety of games and actions to help you find Pokémon, items and utility items. To get to Poké Pelago open up the in-game menu. Poké Pelago is run by a man named Mohn, a friendly sort that will help you unlock all of the features and islands in Poké Pelago. The main goal of Pelago is to collect Poké Beans. Isle Abeens – Gather 3 types of Poké Beans. Isle Aplenny – Grow Berries. Isle Aphun – Send Pokémon on missions to retrieve items. Isle Eveup – EV training for Pokémon. Isle Avue – Hot Springs Island to hatch Eggs and gain Happiness. Poké Beans are consumable items that can cut down on the time needed to take actions in Poké Pelago. There are certain special beans (Pattered and Rainbow) which are valued at 3 and 7 normal Poké Beans respectively. Regular beans last 20 minutes, Patterned Beans last 1 hour and Rainbow Beans last 2 hours. The first Island available to you at no cost is Isle Abeens and it is used to harvest Poké Beans. You'll see a beanstalk growing in the center of the island and Beans fall down for your Pokémon to collect. You can tap on the beanstalk to make it drop Beans but it will run out for the day eventually and be restocked the next day. This Island attracts wild Pokémon that can be captured if they enjoy their time there. Placing Poké Beans in the Bean Bin increases the chances of wild Pokémon showing up. There are 3 ranks (upgrade levels) for Isle Abeens with requirements: Rank 1 - N/A - N/A (Already available from the start.) Rank 2 - 15 Pokémon in Boxes - 30 Poké Beans Rank 3 - 30 Pokémon in Boxes - 90 Poké Beans The following Pokémon can be attracted to your island: Carbink Drifblim Gastly Kadabra Magnemite Metang Mismagius Murkrow Pikipek Pinsir Poliwag Scyther Shellder Skarmory Staryu Trevenant Wingull The second island of Poké Pelago lets you grow and collect berries. There are no wild Pokémon encounters on this island. You can use Poké Beans to increase how many Berries are harvested. It takes between 24 and 72 hours for the Berry tree to grow. Putting Poké Beans in the bin can halve the time it takes for the Berry Tree's to grow for the duration of the Poké Bean boost. Like the other islands, Isle Aplenny also has 3 Ranks you can upgrade. Each upgrade increases your Berry harvest. Here are the requirements and limits per each rank of the Island: Rank 1 - 15 Pokémon in Box - 15 Poké Beans - Can grow 6 Trees Rank 3 - 30 Pokémon in Box - 60 Poké Beans - Can grow 12 Trees Rank 4 - 30 Pokémon in Box - 90 Poké Beans - Can grow 18 Trees The 3rd Island in Poké Pelaga allows you to send your Pokémon on missions to collect items in the caverns on the island. There are 4 missions once you reach the final upgrade Rank and they can provide you with some pretty good rewards, including evolution stones and other rare items. Missions last for 24 hours and you can use Poké Beans to reduce that number to 12 hours. Every time you upgrade a Rank it unlocks a new mission type. Here are the requirements and limits per each rank of the Island: Rank 1 - 30 Pokémon in Box - 30 Poké Beans - Unlocks: Path for Odd-Shard Hunting! and Path for Brilliant-Stone Hunting! Rank 2 - 30 Pokémon in Box - 60 Poké Beans - Unlocks: Path for Rare-Treasure Hunting! Rank 3 - 30 Pokémon in Box - 90 Poké Beans - Unlocks: Path for Interesting-Item Hunting! You can put groups of up to 6 Pokémon to play and give them a stat-specific drink to improve their EVs during sessions. Each individual play session last 30 minutes and you gain 4 EVs per session. To cap out EVs to 252 it will take you 31:30 hours and require 63 consecutive sessions. This time can be halved by putting Poké Beans in the bin. Here’s the unlock requirements for Isle Evelup: Rank 1 - 45 Pokémon in Box - 45 Poké Beans - Allowed 6 Pokémon Training (1 group of 6) Rank 2 - 60 Pokémon in Box - 120 Poké Beans - Allowed 12 Pokémon Training (2 groups of 6) Rank 3 - 75 Pokémon in Box - 255 Poké Beans - Allowed 18 Pokémon Training (3 groups of 6) Level Boost Drink Increases your Pokémon’s EXP by 40 Exp. It can be used to increase the Happiness of your Pokémon and to hatch eggs faster. Putting Poké Beans in the bin will double the Happiness gains received and Eggs will hatch much faster. Here are the Ranks and Unlock Requirements for Island Avue: Rank 1 - 60 Pokémon in Box - 60 Poké Beans - Capacity for 6 Pokémon Rank 2 - 75 Pokémon in Box - 150 Poké Beans - Capacity for 12 Pokémon Rank 3 - 90 Pokémon in Box - 240 Poké Beans - Capacity for 18 Pokémon As stated above in the Island guides, there is a bin on each island that you can put Poké Beans in to decrease the time it takes for that task to finish or improve how effective the island is. Here is the screen you will see when you tap a bin with your stylus: Here you can allocate beans and it will tell you how long the bonus will last based on the types and total beans used. You can Exchange higher ranking beans (Patterned, Rainbow) for Plain beans. You can only do this if you have less than 300 Plain Beans. This is useful for when you're just starting out and need a lot of beans for Pokémon Refresh and for upgrading Islands. Once every 24 hours you can send out a Bean Bottle. It costs 7 beans to send out a bottle 24 hours later you will notice bottles floating in the water at the edge of each of your islands. Tap on these bottles with the style to get 7 Beans per bottle. This essentially is a way to turn 7 beans into 35 beans in 24 hours. That about covers everything you need to know about Poké Pelago. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments or send me a PM directly and I will address your concerns. @Nitro @13thShade @Plok
 Achievements
