Kastion 0/300 Posted March 9, 2018 Berries are a type of item that can be held by Pokémon to be used in battle. There are a multitude of different berries and I'm going to be going over all their locations and what they are do. The types of berries are as following: "Stat Reduction" berries, "Restoration" berries, "Status Condition Healing" berries, "Stat Enhancement" berries and "Damage Negation" berries. Once you have at least 1 of a type of berry, you can use Isle Aplenny in Poké Pelago, so gather berries from all over Alola to grow trees from or trade Pokémon with friends who have their Pokémon holding a berry you need. Berry Fields - Oran Berry, Persim Berry Route 2 - Chesto Berry, Leppa Berry, Oran Berry, Persim Berry, Sitrus Berry Route 3 - Cheri Berry, Chesto Berry, Leppa Berry, Pecha Berry, Sitrus Berry Route 4 - Aguav Berry, Figy Berry, Iapapa Berry, Lum Berry, Mago Berry, Pecha Berry, Wiki Berry Route 5 - Cheri Berry, Lum Berry, Pecha Berry, Persim Berry, Rawst Berry Route 8 - Cheri Berry, Chesto Berry, Oran Berry, Lum Berry, Pecha Berry, Persim Berry, Sitrus Berry Route 10 - Grepa Berry, Hondew Berry, Kee Berry, Kelpsy Berry, Pomeg Berry, Qualot Berry, Tamato Berry Route 16 - Aspear Berry, Lum Berry, Oran Berry, Pecha Berry, Persim Berry, Sitrus Berry Route 17 - Ganlon Berry, Leppa Berry, Lum Berry, Pecha Berry, Rawst Berry, Sitrus Berry Secluded Shore - Apicot Berry, Aspear Berry, Cheri Berry, Chesto Berry, Leppa Berry Poni Plains - Maranga Berry, Occa Berry, Passho Berry, Rindo Berry, Shuca Berry, Wacan Berry, Yache Berry Poni Wilds - Charti Berry, Chilan Berry, Chople Berry, Colbur Berry, Occa Berry, Salac Berry, Shuca Berry Poni Wilds - Babiri Berry, Passho Berry, Payapa Berry, Petaya Berry, Roseli Berry, Wacan Berry, Yache Berry Poni Wilds - Coba Berry, Haban Berry, Kasib Berry, Liechi Berry, Kebia Berry, Rindo Berry, Tanga Berry Stat Reduction Berries reduce the EV of the specified stat for that berry by 10 and increase the Pokémon's Happiness by +10 if Friendship is 0-99, +5 Friendship if at 100-199 and +2 Friendship if it's at 200-255. Pomeg Berry - Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly but lowers its base HP. Kelpsy Berry - Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly but lowers its base Attack. Qualot Berry - Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly but lowers its base Defense. Hondew Berry - Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly but lowers its base Sp. Atk. Grepa Berry - Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly but lowers its base Sp. Def. Tamato Berry - Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly but lowers its base Speed. With a few exceptions, these berries heal 50% HP when reaching below 25% HP, but Confuses Pokémon that dislike the flavor. Leppa Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can restore 10 PP to a depleted move during battle Oran Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can restore its own HP by 10 points during battle. Sitrus Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can restore its own HP by a small amount during battle. (Restores 25% of max HP) Aguav Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it restores the user’s HP in a pinch, but it will cause confusion if the user hates the taste. (Restores 50% of max HP) Figy Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it restores the user’s HP in a pinch, but it will cause confusion if the user hates the taste. (Restores 50% of max HP) Iapapa Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it restores the user’s HP in a pinch, but it will cause confusion if the user hates the taste. (Restores 50% of max HP) Mago Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it restores the user’s HP in a pinch, but it will cause confusion if the user hates the taste. (Restores 50% of max HP) Wiki Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it restores the user’s HP in a pinch, but it will cause confusion if the user hates the taste. (Restores 50% of max HP) The following berries raise a Pokémon's stat when HP falls below 25%. Liechie Berry - Raises Attack when HP is below 25%. Ganlon Berry - Raises Defense when HP is below 25%. Kee Berry - Increases Defense when hit by a physical move. Petaya Berry - Raises Special Attack when HP is below 25%. Apicot Berry - Raises Special Defense when HP is below 25%. Maranga Berry - Increases Special Defense when hit by a special move. Salac Berry - Raises Speed when HP is below 25%. Lum Berry - Heals all status conditions and confusion. Persim Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can recover from confusion on its own in battle. Chesto Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can recover from sleep on its own in battle. Cheri Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can recover from paralysis on its own in battle. Aspear Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can recover from being frozen on its own in battle. Pecha Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can recover from poisoning on its own in battle. Rawst Berry - If a Pokémon holds one, it can recover from a burn on its own in battle. Chilian Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Normal-type move. Chiple Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Fighting-type move. Coba Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Flying-type move. Shuca Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Ground-type move. Charti Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Rock-type move. Babiri Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Steel-type move. Occa Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Fire-type move. Passho Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Water-type move. Rindo Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Grass-type move. Wacan Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Electric-type move. Yache Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Ice-type move. Tanga Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Bug-type move. Kebia Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Poison-type move. Colbur Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Dark-type move. Haban Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Dragon-type move. Kasib Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Ghost-type move. Payapa Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Psychic-type move. Roseli Berry - Halves the damage taken from a supereffective Fairy-type move.
