Kastion 0/300 Posted March 8, 2018 There is a feature in Pokémon Sun/Moon & Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon called Island Scan. You can reach the feature from the menu item labeled "QR SCANNER" From within here you can scan QR Codes. You can find QR Codes online on IGN but they only have a small selection of codes: IGN QR Code List (284 Alolan Codes) I'm working on something called "The QR Code Project" which is a work-in-progress and will contain all 2,283 scanable QR Codes. You can scan up to 10 QR Codes in a 24 hour period. However, your scanner regenerates at a rate of 1 scan every 2 hours. So you do not have to wait the full 24 hours for them to regenerate, you can scan a new code every 2 hours. Every time you scan a code you get points. Most QR Codes give 10 points but there are special codes that give 20 points. After collecting 100 Points you can do what is called an "Island Scan". This allows you to spawn rare Pokémon that aren't from Gen 7. It will tell you where you can find the Pokémon in question and you have to go to that area and walk around in the tall grass or cave until you encounter the Pokémon. Different Pokémon spawn depending on two factors: 1) The day of the week; and 2) The Island you Scan on = Available only in Sun & Moon. = Available only in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. = Available in All Titles. Totodile (Seaward Cave) [] Squirtle (Seaward Cave) [] Spheal (Route 7) [] Swinub (Tapu Village) [] Conkeldurr (Poni Plains) [] Aggron (Poni Plains) [] Deino (Ten Carat Hill) [] Onix (Ten Carat Hill) [] Luxio (Route 8) [] Combusken (Route 8) [] Duosion (Route 16) [] Prinplup (Route 16) [] Togekiss (Poni Gauntlet) [] Rotom (Poni Gauntlet) [] Horsea (Kala'e Bay) [] Honedge (Akala Outskirts) [] Roselia (Ula'ula Meadow) [] Grotle (Ula'ula Meadow) [] Leavanny (Pony Meadow) [] Klink (Hau'oli City) [] Scatterbug (Hau'oli City) [] Venipede (Route 4) [] Beedril (Route 4) [] Staravia (Route 10) [] Pidgeot (Route 10) [] Serperior (Exeggutor Island) [] Chesnaught (E.I) [] Chikorita (Route 2) [] Bulbasaur (Route 2) [] Bellsprout (Route 5) [Game: ] Grovyle (Route 5) [] Vigoroth (Route 11) [] Monferno (Route 11) [] Samurott (Poni Wilds) [] Greninja (Poni Wilds) [] Litwick (Hau'oli Cemetery) [] Marill (Brooklet Hill) [] Marshtomp (Brooklet Hill) [] Axew (Mount Hokulani) [] Emboar (Ancient Poni Path) [ ] Delphox (Ancient Poni Path) [] Cyndaquil (Route 3) [] Charmander (Route 3) [] Gothita (Route 6) [] Ralts (Route 6) [] Rhyhorn (Blush Mountain) [] Eelektross (Poni Grove) [] That's it for the guide. Guest lutonmad Posted March 8, 2018 Question: Do the Pokemon that spawn call for help at all? I guess what I'm asking is can you Shiny SOS hunt them? I'd love a shiny Luxio (Shinx or Luxray) for example.
