The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved in the world of jujutsu (a form of Japanese martial arts) after eating a cursed finger that belonged to a powerful sorcerer. It was produced by MAPPA and directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi. Overall, fans seem to agree that the anime was well-animated and had great voice acting. However, many felt that it strayed too far from the source material, making changes that were unnecessary or didn’t make sense.
For example, some characters’ personalities were altered, certain plot points were changed or left out entirely, and the pacing was often rushed. As a result, many feel that the anime wasn’t able to do justice to the complex story and rich world of the manga. That being said, there are still plenty of people who enjoyed the anime and are eagerly awaiting its second season.
