  1. As do I -- if you ever want a second opinion on something or you want to bounce some ideas off each other (even if it's not pokemon related), please hit me up. I'm a fan of how you wrote this so I have a feeling I'd be able to learn some stuff from you.
  2. Holy shit. I've been here for a couple months. I've written some articles myself, and I've read myriad more. This is genuinely one of the best articles I've seen on here. You cover the usual-- stats, movepool, options, counters. But for the first time ever, you actually have a useful analysis section. You go over why it's relevant NOW and not why it could be used in this situation and maybe this other one. Most of all, (no offense to any other writers), you have an actual sense of wordplay. You know how to sound casual without sounding like an idiot. You know how to make an argument flow. This is beyond fantastic. Please keep writing more!
  3. As much as I love your take on these, you've already touched on why Wishiwashi doesn't see a lot of light--koko and bulu are everywhere and can destroy it. Although its stats are impressive barring HP and speed when in schooling form, it can't hold up to araquanid's outclassing bulk and support movepool, or gyarados's offensive prowess and intimidate. Wishiwashi, like you mentioned, has a super shallow attacking movepool and a nearly nonexistent support movepool. Once you figure out if it's mixed physical or special, you can pretty much figure out its entire moveset--something that is dangerous to knowingly go into battles with in vgc. Anyway those are just my two cents on wishiwashi. Fantastically written article. Nice work dude
  4. Whatsup with your username?

@gingerWhimsy first name, middle initial, last initial. Simple as that!
  5. WAIT IS LANDO T GETTING THE CHOP BECAUSE I WILL FUCKING GO OUTSIDE AND SCREAM WITH JOY
  6. This is the reason I stopped playing singles in gen 7. There's so little stability and you have mons that are otherwise OU level in strength sitting in low tiers and it makes no sense. I thought smogon's method of using use percentages was a very good way of determining the relevance of a pokemon in the meta or their ability to stand in it, but with so many mons at this point the system is starting to fall apart and we end up seeing powerhouses like m-Garde M-Gallade, Hoopa-U and gliscor in UU. We're seeing things pushed out because they don't have stellar stats or movepools, while garbage gets pulled from the muck just because it happens to hard counter the one mon that's meta centralizing. It's very frustrating.
  7. Not to mention that horrifyingly high 165 base attack
  8. I'm pretty sure they're already planning a suspect test on galladite If not they already have started it
  9. Well technically you can hack in ribbons too haha
  10. I'm always happy to help if you're willing to take someone a little less experienced than clad or ketchup
